Pertumbuhan Spiritualitas Pendeta dalam Menghadapi Tantangan Pelayanan Jemaat Kontemporer

This study stems from the complexity of contemporary congregational ministry challenges arising from social and cultural changes, digital technology, diverse perspectives, individualism, conflict, and increasing pastoral needs. These conditions require pastors to possess both ministry competence and mature spirituality to maintain their calling, integrity, resilience, quality of relationships, and ministry relevance. This study aims to analyze the process of pastors’ spiritual growth in responding to ministry challenges and the dimensions that support the resilience and sustainability of pastoral ministry. The study employs a qualitative approach through literature analysis involving the identification, categorization, interpretation, comparison, and synthesis of various studies on pastoral spirituality, spiritual formation, burnout, spiritual resilience, pastoral relationships, and digital ministry. The findings reveal five dimensions of spiritual growth: relationship with God, character transformation, spiritual resilience, relational-communal life, and contextual capacity. These five dimensions strengthen vocational orientation, the ability to cope with pressures, healthy relationships, and adaptation to changing times. The novelty of this study lies in its integrative model, which positions the church as an ecosystem for sustainable spiritual formation that supports the continuity of pastoral ministry.
